Are we Babylon?  Do we live a fully biblical world view?  This is something my family seeks in our life.  Our family wants to walk with Yeshua the way YHWH intended for us to walk.   Not with vein deception based on the traditions of men found in the world.

Our family is practicing the feast days set forth in the Torah, Leviticus 23.   Our purpose is to get back to our Hebraic roots and  follow YHWH’s Word in a whole and meaningful way.  We celebrate Yeshua’s birth, life, death, and resurrection during the feasts of YHWH.

This is very new for our family, and already we have felt the blessings of YHWH as we pursue Him daily.  We are finishing this month with the fall feasts and we have learned so much about ourselves, each other, and the love our Heavenly Father has for us through Yeshua our Messiah.

Throwing off the traditions of men is not an easy task.  Each one has to decide for himself how he will follow the Word of God.  This is a study that must be pursued personally.

I do not believe salvation is conditional on the Law or Torah.  I understand that we are saved through Yeshua our Messiah.

I am wrestling with the idea that YHWH has specific ways he wants to be honored and worshiped.  I believe He has told us all this in His Word.  Did Yeshua purposefully fulfill the spring feasts to show glory to the Father and show us the importance of these statutes?

Our family’s meditation: Colossians 2:8 See to it that no one takes you captive (spoils you) through philosophy (Love of wisdom, a Greek compound root word, in this case the appearance of wisdom, perhaps a love of “self” wisdom) and empty deception (empty words, worldly chatter, and what is falsely called “knowledge”) according to the tradition of men, according to the elementary principles (teachings of babes) of the world, and not on Jesus Christ.
